Do I need to make a reservation for treatment?

We are always available for initial consultations without reservations, but for some free treatments that require preparation, please make a reservation for a consultation date with the doctor in charge.

What do I need to bring on the day?

Please bring your health insurance card.

Do I need a referral letter for my first visit?

There is no problem if you don't have it. If you have already received a referral letter, please bring it with you as it will contain information about you from your previous doctor.

When is the call connected?

Please contact our clinic during opening hours.

Can I use a credit card at checkout?

For some non-refundable medical treatment, various credit cards can be used in one payment. Electronic money and barcode payments are not accepted.

Are there any extra fees for night and holiday consultations?

Yes, we do.

Does Matsubara Clinic have a private parking lot?

Our clinic is located near Ikebukuro Station, so we do not have a dedicated parking lot. Please use public transportation when visiting the clinic.

Can I visit the clinic in a wheelchair or with a stroller?

Yes, you can visit us. Our clinic is on the 7th floor, but you can access it by elevator.

Can medications be prescribed at the hospital?

Generally, we issue prescriptions for outpatients.

Is same-day surgery possible?

Yes. All surgeries performed at our clinic are same-day surgeries.

Can I stay in the hospital after the surgery?

We do not have any inpatient facilities, so if you require inpatient treatment we will refer you to a hospital.

Can babies also be examined?

You can visit us, but we may refer you to an appropriate hospital depending on your symptoms.

Can you give me prescription glasses?

Yes, we can. We can also issue prescriptions only, so please contact us for more information.

Can I get a contact lens prescription?

Yes, we can. We can also issue prescriptions only, so please contact us for more information.

I usually wear contact lenses. Should I remove them before going to the hospital for an examination?

There is no problem with wearing it when you come to our clinic. Please understand that we may ask you to remove it at our clinic for an examination.
