1985 - 1988 Okamoto Building Ophthalmology Clinic opens
1990 - 1991 Learned the basics of corneal refractive surgery under Professor Perry Binder at California State University, Santiago.
In 1992, he engaged in research under the guidance of Dr. Fyodorov, the founder of RK surgery in Moscow, and obtained a license. After returning to Japan, he began performing vision correction surgery, mainly RK, PRK, and LASIK, and was able to restore the vision of many people suffering from myopia.
